Cork Chamber's Annual Dinner will take place on Friday 5th February 2016 and promises to be another great success with companies from across the business community descending on City Hall. Don't miss your chance to book for the biggest event the year. To facilitate the maximum number of member companies attending, tickets are limited to 4 per company and are priced at €190 per ticket including VAT.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings can only be made by fully paid up Cork Chamber members through our website. Requests for additional tickets will be placed on a waiting list and subject to availability.

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) at Cork Chamber, in conjunction with the Irish Green Building Council (IGBC) and Energy Cork, are delighted to invite you to a one-day course on Certification Tools for Green Buildings, also known as green construction or sustainable building.
Background to this training:
The European Commission is placing increased importance on the environmental performance of buildings, with the scope of improving building sustainability and enhancing business opportunities within the sustainable buildings industry. A resource-efficient Europe is one of the EU’s key priorities under Europe 2020. For this reason, the EEN has partnered with the IGBC and Energy Cork to deliver this training programme.
Course aim: The course aims to give attendees information on Certification Tools for Green Buildings and understand what it involves.

Cork City Launches its Purple Flag Awards
Lord Mayor of Cork City, Councillor Chris O' Leary, recently launched the Purple Flag award for Cork City centre on Friday November 20th. The event which took place in the Cork Opera House saw the official adoption of this internationally recognised city centre award by Cork City. The Lord Mayor, in addition to Cork City Council Chief Executive Ann Doherty, and Gillian Keating, Chair of the City Centre Forum, welcomed the award and highlighted the collaboration of Cork City Centre stakeholders and traders in the successful achievement of this award standard.
