A new report produced by EY-DKM Economic Advisory, commissioned by Cork Chamber and the Construction Industry Federation, has found that the cost of construction of new apartments is significantly beyond viability and is threatening future economic growth in Ireland’s cities.

 

The report includes a suite of 16 recommended actions to improve viability.

Apply for an EORI Number
Take 10 mins to be ready to trade with the UK post Brexit
 

To move goods into or out of the EU you need an Economic Operator and Registration Identification (EORI) number.

 

Irish companies and EU companies that trade goods with the UK should take steps to prepare for Brexit by obtaining an EORI number as it will be required when importing or exporting goods outside of the EU. You can register for an EORI number on Revenue’s EORI online registration service through My Account or ROS.

 

UK companies that import or export goods with the EU will need a UK EORI number that begins with GB to continue trading in and out of the EU after Brexit. Further details can be found on gov.uk.
