Cork Chamber is proud to welcome back Richie Boucher, Group CEO of Bank of Ireland, to speak at the May Business Breakfast briefing as part of Bank of Ireland’s National Enterprise Week. Richie was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Ireland in 2009.
He joined the Bank as Chief Executive Corporate Banking in 2003 from Royal Bank of Scotland. Within Bank of Ireland, Richie has also held the position of Chief Executive of the Retail Ireland division of Bank of Ireland. Polish ICT delegation to Cork
Date: Thursday, 19th May Venue: KBC Bank, Lapp’s Quay Time: 11.00 am – 2.00 pm Book: HERE Enterprise Europe Network at Cork Chamber, in association with the Trade and Investment Section of the Polish Embassy to Ireland, will host a delegation of Polish ICT companies in Cork on Thursday, 19th May 2016 in KBC Bank, Lapps Quay. The Polish delegation will comprise of companies from the south-eastern Podkarpackie region of Poland. This region has a population of 2.1m and neighbours both Slovakia and the Ukraine. Its capital city is Rzeszow and the region is renowned for its rich natural resources and a dynamic IT industry. On the day, an overview of the business opportunities within the Podkarpackie and Cork regions will be given for the ICT sector. The scope of this mission is to identify possible opportunities for further cooperation between Polish and Cork companies from the ICT sector. The event will take place in Enterprise Ireland’s offices in East Point Business Park and will address the overall topic of how to create value through professional management and exploitation of IP, with a special focus on IP in the field of healthcare.
