Food Matters Live & Overseas Partnering Opportunities
Taking place from 18th - 20th November 2014 at London’s ExCeL centre Food Matters Live is a new annual event exploring one of the most important challenges of our time: the relationship between food, health and nutrition. Enterprise Europe Network at Cork Chamber is looking for expressions of interest from companies/researchers who would be interested in joining a trade delegation to this event, and specifically to avail of the 1:1 meetings being hosted by our partner EEN in South-East UK, which takes place on 19th November. Chamber Pre-Budget Submission 2015
Cork Chamber has published its Pre-Budget submission which sets out to Government the priorities of Cork’s business community in advance of Budget 2015. The submission covers a number of areas with a primary focus on innovative solutions which the Chamber believes will aid continued economic growth and job creation whilst fostering a positive environment for start-up enterprises and increasing consumer confidence. The Pre-Budget Submission focuses on four key areas: taxation; economic development including supports for SME’s and entrepreneurs; consumer confidence; and priority infrastructure projects to ensure a strong economic region that has the capacity to attract and capitalise on growth and employment opportunities.
