Female Entrepreneurs Mentoring Clinic

Cork Chamber are delighted to welcome Paula Fitzsimons to speak at an event organised as part of the Chamber's Female Mentoring project.  Paula will be addressing the issues around whether Irish women have untapped entrepreneurial potential, referencing the findings of the recent Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2011 report, and highlighting the supports available for female entrepreneurs through programmes such as Going for Growth. The event will also offer early-stage female entrepreneurs the opportunity to arrange a short one-to-one meeting with a mentor, in order to ask advice on a specific aspect of their business. For more information or to register your interest in this event, contact: Katherine@corkchamber.ie

A Scottish (UK) SME, who is a specialist surface materials designer, manufacturer and exporter, is seeking representation in Ireland for its unique products which are widely used in retail to cosmetically refurbish existing assets such as supermarket checkouts. The company has an established a highly effective, overnight, minimally disruptive system for resurfacing supermarket checkouts, which has been adopted widely in the UK and abroad. Using their innovative product, in the correct supermarket

colours, whole banks of checkouts can be transformed overnight, often as part of a store refresh programme. Potential partners will already supply on-site services to large retail supermarket chains. For further information about this opportunity please contact siobhan@corkchamber.ie
