Chambers Ireland Survey on Employment Costs and Budget 2013:
To tie in with our activation strategies around Budget 2013, Chambers Ireland is focusing on the issues which our members, and the businesses they represent, feel are most important.
They are running a survey which will feed into efforts to sustain employment and support businesses throughout 2013. The Survey is available here or you can copy the following link into your browser http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N9NM3TJ
All members are encouraged to complete the survey which closes on Thursday 11th of October.
Christmas Parking Initiatives:
Cork City Council has recently announced free parking initiatives in a bid to boost pre-Christmas trade. The measures include free late-night parking and a free park-and-ride service on Saturdays. Following last year’s four week initiative a more structured scheme has been implemented. In a bid to drive economic development in the city centre the Council will extend free parking to all as follows:
- Paul Street and North Main Street car parks between 10am and 12pm Monday to Thursday beginning on October 22nd.
- Paul Street car park between 6.30pm and midnight on Thursday and Friday to encourage late night parking beginning on October 25th.
- Parking facilities at the Black Ash park-and-ride will be free on Saturdays.
