Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from January until June 2013. The Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU is about securing stability and ensuring that it leads to jobs and growth.  2013 ushers in a new phase in the European Union’s drive for recovery and as the holders of the Presidency, Ireland has committed to delivering real and positive decisions to support Europe’s economic recovery and social cohesion. The Enterprise Europe Network at Cork Chamber will keep you updated on relevant events taking place as part of the EU Presidency next year.   

The annual UCC Christmas Homecoming will take place on Sunday, December 23^rd from 5.30pm -7.30pm. The Christmas Homecoming is a great opportunity for UCC alumni at home and abroad to re-unite on campus and enjoy the holiday season celebrations in the Aula Maxima.
