Innovate 2016: EEN opportunity for 2 free day tickets and B2B matchmaking, 2nd-3rd November, Manchester

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) consortium in England, Northern Ireland & Wales is organisng a B2B Matchmaking event with the Department of International Trade (ex-UKTI) and Innovate UK at Innovate 2016 in Manchester. The event takes place 2nd-3rd November 2016. Innovate 2016 will showcase the UK’s most exciting technology innovations and will host a thought leadership conference alongside an innovation exhibition. Bringing together over 2,500 innovators, investors and experts, the event will shine a global spotlight on innovation from across the UK, particularly the Northern Powerhouse region (the north of England).

Main areas will include:

  • Cities of the Future: from energy and transport to health and the digital economy
  • Manufacturing of the Future: from digital manufacturing to composites and industrial biotechnology
  • Technologies of the Future leading the way for the new products, processes and services of tomorrow
  • Health in the Future: The growing global population, ageing demographic, increased wealth and burden of diseases are accelerating the demand for food and improved healthcare

This event is really well attended every year. This year, the organisers would like to make it more international and have negotiated free 2-day tickets for overseas companies who would like to attend and are looking:

  • To buy or license UK solutions (technology / products) from new and established companies;
  • To invest in the UK or UK companies and co-develop new solutions;
  • To find UK research partners to be part of the consortium which the overseas company will lead or to work on technology transfer.
