A Positive Week for Cork

Cork Chamber has warmly welcomed two recent positive economic developments for Cork which were announced by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD last week.  The Taoiseach officially opened the refurbished Kingsley Hotel which had been closed since it was damaged by the 2009 River Lee floods. The Kingsley Hotel has created over 130 jobs and will add further quality to an already strong hotel offering in Cork City.

The Taoiseach also announced that The Mater Private Hospital in Cork is set to add 150 new jobs to its facility in City Gate.  The jobs will include Doctors, nurses and post graduate research positions.
