The Pav Reel Film Festival was started to showcase young film makers from all over the world so it went up on film freeway as an official film festival and submissions started coming in from all over the world. The topic which the organisers centred on was social issues which can effect anyone of us in any given day in our circle of friends, or our family, or may have effected our loved ones in the past, such as
1)Suicide Awareness
2)Drug Awareness
3)Homelessness
4)Bullying

This is a brave film festival for Cork City – not afraid to face up to the harsh realities which have become daily life for so many.
