Greenshoots is a nine month business support programme based at Macroom E Enterprise Centre. The aim is to provide new business owners with the best possible start and chance of success through focused business training, coaching, mentoring, space and support. Participants attend weekly workshops, avail of expert mentors, business coaching, access to a network of support agencies and more established business people all the while working within a group of peer entrepreneurs which helps take the loneliness out of starting up on their own. This ceremony marks the end of the third programme, having started with a very successful pilot in 2010. Since then, over 30 business owners have passed through the programme and the centre and come out the other side as strong, sustainable and viable businesses. This event is a great opportunity for those with a business idea they are ready to turn into reality or those already started and in need of some support and guidance. Entry is free and all are welcome.
