Friday’s session will be chaired by Deirdre Clune MEP and speakers will include Simon Coveney, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade; Declan Walsh, UCC Faculty of Law; and Andy Klom, European Commisison.

The European Commission has published a White Paper on the Future of Europe which outlines five options for the EU, post Brexit.

  • Should the Union stay as it is?
  • Should the Union deal only with trade?
  • Should it do much more?
  • Should some members move at different speeds?
  • What role should the EU play in international security?
