This informative session in association with Adare Human Resource Management will feature HR, Employment Law and Health and Safety experts as they discuss the Adare HR Barometer survey report findings in detail, explore practical considerations, answer key questions and provide guidance for businesses on what they should consider in this area.
Attendees will benefit from a rounded discussion and review of the new ways of working and the legal considerations to support key decision making and mitigate risks around implementation of more permanent working models.
This session will look at The KinShip Project at Tramore Valley Park led by artists Lennon Taylor (Marilyn Lennon and Seán Taylor), in partnership with Cork City Council. The KinShip Project will provide a programme of artistic residencies, the design and building of a sustainable Eco Lab and series of creative exchanges and knowledge exchanges. All these elements will put the local community at the centre of the project.
We will be joined by Siobhán Clancy, Community Arts Coordinator at Cork City Arts Office. Siobhán provides support to Lennon Taylor on behalf of Cork City Council as lead partner of The KinShip Project.
Participants will acquire a range of supervisory and management skills, in addition to improving their interpersonal and communication skills. The programme combines proven leadership techniques with practical advice on how to maximise your team’s performance and engagement.
The purpose of this Certificate in Training Delivery & Evaluation Programme (Train the Trainer) is to provide you with the tools and techniques to effectively deliver, assess and evaluate your training programmes. You will gain practical experience and recognised certification as a trainer.
Participants will be guided through the video production process from planning to uploading. The workshop gives attendees the chance to apply what they’re learning to their own objectives. This includes filling out online workbooks, a filming assignment at the end of workshop 1, and a detailed editing demonstration.

As part of Budget 2022, Government agreed the future of the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS), including the graduated step-down in subsidy rates payable, with a view to bringing the scheme to an end by April 2022. This means that with effect from Tuesday Feb 01, most businesses availing of support under EWSS moved to the reduced weekly rates of support of either €203 or €151.50 per employee (depending on the gross weekly wage paid) for the month of February. For March and April 2022, a weekly flat rate subsidy of €100 per employee will be payable.
However, last month, the Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, T.D., announced that businesses availing of EWSS that were directly impacted by the public health restrictions in operation from 20 December 2021 to 22 January 2022 will receive additional support under the scheme to assist them as they fully reopen.
