The Cork and Kerry Food Forum
 

Ireland’s happiest and healthiest twins, The Happy Pear, and one of Ireland’s best-loved chefs, Kevin Dundon, will join 75 food producers from the Cork and Kerry region at this year’s Cork and Kerry Food Forum.

The hugely successful food event is back and will run over two days featuring healthy cookery demonstrations, as well as one of the largest artisan food markets in Ireland, including local food academy producers. The free event will take place from 12 -5pm in Cork City Hall on Sunday 26 and Monday 27th  June 2016.

Following the tremendous success of last year’s JCI Friendly Business Awards (FBA), JCI Cork are on the hunt for deserving businesses. In a city known worldwide for its hospitality and customer service, there are several hundred businesses in its metropolitan area alone all serving customers in true Cork style.

¡Hola! Madrid
 
A new twice-weekly Iberia Express service to Madrid took off from Cork Airport today, giving holiday makers even more choice when it comes to choosing their summer holiday destination. 

The Deputy Head of Mission to Ireland from the Spanish Embassy in Dublin, Rafael Soriano, attended the launch event at Cork Airport to mark the commencement of the new route. He was joined by Gonzalo Ceballos Watling, Director of the Spanish Tourism Office in Ireland.

Kevin Cullinane, Head of Communications at Cork Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome Iberia Express to Cork and to celebrate the launch of the latest new route from Cork Airport. Securing this new Madrid route has been testament to the hard work of the teams at Cork Airport, Iberia Express and Madrid Airport and I would like to thank everyone for their support in this.
