The second seminar in our “Access to Finance” series will focus on EU funding; how the EU budget is allocated and how SMEs can apply for direct or indirect funding.   A number of SME and Research cases studies will give insights to EU funding successes.

  • EU Funding – An overview of funding opportunities for SMEs. Chris Farmakis, EU Funding Manager, Greater London Enterprise
  • Horizon 2020 – An outline of the new EU €80bn programme for research and innovation (2014-2020) and potential of the programme to assist SME growth.  Sean Burke, National Contact Point for the Research for the Benefit of SMEs, Enterprise Ireland
