Mid-Year Expenditure Report Released

The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donohoe, has today published the Mid-Year Expenditure Report for 2016.

Setting out the broad fiscal parameters for Budget 2017, the report suggest an additional €2 billion to be available for next year’s budget. At the same time, the report confirms that public investment will be prioritised over tax cuts in the next budget, as also set out in the Programme for Government.

The report can be read here.

Cork Chamber is currently in the process of preparing a pre-budget submission on behalf of members. If you wish to discuss specific budget priorities please contact Sarah by email.
