Winners of the Cork Company of the Year Awards 2024 were announced on Friday night. PepsiCo was crowned the overall and International category winner of the awards, hosted by Cork Chamber in association with Vodafone Ireland and media partner the Irish Examiner. There were four individual category awards presented at the ceremony which took place in City Hall:

Official Opening of Dunkettle Interchange
 

This week we welcomed the official opening of the highly anticipated Dunkettle Interchange Scheme by An Tánaiste Micheál Martin T.D. 
 
“The completion of this €215 million project is a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of all involved. It represents a major investment in our region's future and will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for economic growth and development,” said Conor Healy, Cork Chamber CEO.

Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal
 

Right now the escalation of violence has taken a horrendous toll on the lives of children living in Gaza. Thousands of children have been killed and injured, with these numbers expected to rise over the coming hours and days.

 

Children and families are running out of food, water, electricity, medicine and safe access to hospitals, following months of air strikes and cuts to all supply routes.UNICEF is on the ground in Gaza working with partners to provide urgently required food, support, shelter, healthcare, sanitation, and protection to children under siege in Gaza.
