Cork Chamber Participates in Study Visit to Clusterland, Austria
As evidence by the success of the ICT and Pharmaceutical Clusters in the Cork Region, Clusters are becoming increasingly imperative to the attractiveness of the region for economic investment. Cork Chamber recently visited a number of Clusters in Linz, Austria as part of a study visit, organised by the South West Regional Authority and European project ‘AT Cluster’.
The aim of this visit was to see first-hand some exemplar clusters and gain a greater knowledge and understanding of what makes such clusters successful with the hope of transferring some of those best practices to the Cork region. It also provided an opportunity to build relationships between Cork Chamber and businesses in these Clusters.
