Dear Chamber Member,

As we enter the festive season, I hope you, your families and colleagues are keeping safe and well. We are entering what is a defining trading period for many businesses, our support of our local economy is more important than ever, in both our business and personal purchase decisions. Shop locally where you can, and help to keep our city region thriving.

The new restrictions, though necessary, are challenging and it is clear that certain sectors are more impacted than others. A review of supports for those most affected is necessary to ensure continuity of business and readiness to recover. We are working daily with Government and local/national stakeholders representing your voice and lobbying on your behalf. Your experiences and perspectives are crucial to informing and shaping our agenda in that activity and as we look ahead to 2022, I encourage your continued engagement and feedback.

Our own Chamber Skillnet team continues to deliver funded training designed to help you upskill your workforce and I invite you to make contact with our Training Network Manager, Garrett, to find out if Skillnet can help you to retain an energised and skilled team.

The Chamber International and Exports team are on hand to help you navigate exports procedures and welcome you to get in touch with your queries.

I hope to see you in the near future at one of our upcoming events as we continue to deliver free content and networking opportunities for our Chamber members. More on events HERE.

I welcome you to contact me directly on 087-9471858 or by e-mail HERE to discuss any issues affecting your business. We are here to represent you.

Warm regards,

Conor Healy
