County Council Budget Adopted

Cork County Council voted 40-8 in favour of adopting the proposed budget for 2017 which sees no increases to commercial rates.

The budget also sees the continuation of 1% of commercial rates being ring fenced for the Economic Development Fund (equal to €1.1m) as advocated by Cork Chamber and an expansion of the successful Town Development Fund.
