Housing Action Plan Stakeholder Workshop

Cork Chamber recently represented business interests as it attended the first Housing Action Plan Stakeholder Consultation Workshop organised by the Department of the Environment, Local Government and Community and held in City Hall.  The workshop brought together stakeholders from public and private sectors and focused on ideas to improve the viability of new construction, stimulating more rental accommodation, tackling homelessness issues, and encouraging more private landlords to enter the market.

The outcome of the consultation will become clear in Government’s Housing Action Plan, which is due to be published later this month.
