On Monday 10th of June, Cork played host to an incredibly exciting and thought-provoking day. The Our Ocean Wealth Summit is Ireland’s flagship event for the marine sector. This year the summit had a focus on small island nations, themed ‘Shared Voices from Small Island States’.
With keynote from former US Secretary of State John Kerry, a passionate talk from youth activist Alicia O'Sullivan, speech from Tánaiste Simon Coveney, the summit also brought together international experts and policy makers with political representatives of island states from across the globe.

This mission coordinated by Cork Chamber and Enterprise Europe Network with the British Embassy in Dublin and the UK Department of International Trade (DIT) offers a unique opportunity for businesses from the South West region as well as stakeholder organisations including representatives from local government, academia, and enterprise and development agencies.
Cork Chamber is hosting a delegation from New Jersey in early July.
The delegation is led by Jose Lozano, President & CEO of Choose NJ and Tim Sullivan, President & CEO of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and includes a group of Choose New Jersey’s board members and other prominent members of New Jersey’s business community.
