Exciting News! A series of "Open Streets" events are coming to Cork city this summer, the first of which will take place on Sunday 19th May from 1-5pm to coincide with Bike Week.
We are encouraging people to walk, cycle or take public transport into town on Sunday 19th May to enjoy a colourful and lively programme of dance, music and street performances on Cornmarket Street, North Main Street and St. Patrick’s Street. These streets will be closed to private cars between 1pm and 5pm to facilitate the events, creating a safe and people-friendly atmosphere. The quays and all city car parks will remain open during this period and parking and access for blue badge holders will be facilitated as normal.
