We run over 100 events annually designed to give you opportunities to meet with business leaders, network with your peers and develop meaningful business connections.

 

As we develop our calendar of events for 2019 and beyond we want your feedback on how we’re getting on, where we could improve and what kind of events bring the most value to you and your business. Enhancing Your Environment
Customer Service Charter
12 June & 19 June
 

The Local Enterprise Office, Cork City is offering a Customer Service Charter programme for Cork City based retail and hospitality owners/managers.

 

The programme comprises of a briefing Session for owners/managers and Train the Trainer Workshop for key senior staff who will then be equipped to deliver the training to other staff/teams in the business. This inaugural training session is being offered at a reduced cost of just €25 per business (valued at over €300), this includes Briefing, Workshop, Training Materials, Mystery Shopper Visits and Feedback.

 


Agenda 21 Open for Applications
Closing date 20 June at 5pm
 

​​The Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund, promotes sustainable development by assisting small-scale environmental projects at local level.The initiative is now open for applications. Funding is typically for small scale community projects that encourage sustainability and/or have an environmental theme.

 

Closing date for applications is 20 June at 5pm. Examples of previously funded projects can be found here.

Innovation in HealthTech
11 & 12 June at the Tyndall National Institute
 

The ‘Innovation in HealthTech’ event will bring together a wide array of stakeholders to discuss the design and development of new medical device solutions to healthcare problems. The event is enabled jointly by the Ireland – Wales EU INTERREG operation CALIN and the H2020 Erasmus+ MedInvent project, in collaboration with Health Innovation Hub Ireland, University College Cork Medical Education Unit and Assert.

IIBA
Technology and Entrepreneurship Event, 25 June
 

CIT will host the Ireland India Business Association’s (IIBA) Technology & Entrepreneurship event on Monday 25 June at 6pm. This evening will bring together IIBA’s network in Cork to discuss technology and the success of entrepreneurs in the region, as they go about engaging with the Indian market.
