Customs Transit Procedure Check for UK landbridge post-Brexit: To avail of the Transit procedure, businesses will need to have a Revenue-approved comprehensive financial guarantee in place.

 

Brexit SME Emergency Fund Increase: The rescue fund for businesses is being increased from €20m to €200m. The Rescue and Restructuring Scheme aims to offer both rescue aid and temporary restructuring aid to SMEs in financial difficulty or experiencing acute liquidity needs.

On 28th March next the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government will speak at City Region’s Ireland (CRI) conference, in Galway: ‘Ireland’s Cities: Powerhouses of Regional Growth’. He will be joined by John Moran of the Land Development Agency and Anne Graham of the National Transport Authority.

The Charter, which is the first of its kind in Europe, was developed to create a city of superior customer service and assist Cork’s journey to becoming one of the friendliest, most liveable and sustainable cities globally. The Cork City Customer Service Charter gives businesses a set of guidelines and training on service, customers and the city. Focus on areas range from fundamentals like friendliness, skillfulness, accessibility and cleanliness to integrity, inclusivity, respect and excellence.

 

The Cork City Centre Forum is a collaboration between Cork Chamber, Cork Business Association, Cork City Council, An Garda Siochana, retail, hospitality and service sectors and other local business representative organisations.
