Our latest Economic Trends capture a snapshot of business experiences and the overall operating landscape. In a period which saw the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the outbreak of war it is of interest to note that 29% of respondents see energy price increases affecting profitability & growth. 66% of companies surveyed have actively managed energy in a bid to make savings and 82% of respondents agree that government should implement measures to help protect businesses from extreme cost pressures in the short term.

South-West Regional Enterprise Plan to 2024
 

The new plan launched by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment includes projects and initiatives across the two South-Western counties of Cork and Kerry. The report reflects the high-level of collaboration and ambition that exists within the region and focuses on six key strategic objectives and actions areas including:

Cork Bike Week 2022
 

Cork Bike Week is back again from the 14th to the 22nd of May. An essential part of National Bike Week, this week long cycling celebration is a collaboration between Cork Sports Partnership, Cork City Council and Cork County Council. Applications for funding are now open for community, workplace, school, service, organisation and club events.
