Dear Chamber Member,

The unfolding situation of Russia's military attacks on Ukraine has shocked our community and puts into stark contrast the relief we had been feeling recently as Covid-19 restrictions continued to ease.

Collaboration, partnership and common goals underpin the strength in our communities both locally and internationally. As recently as last November we welcomed HE Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Larysa Gerasko to our Chamber office and enjoyed a warm, optimistic discussion on opportunities to boost bilateral trade.

The European chamber network has expressed its solidarity towards colleagues in the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, towards the country’s entrepreneurial community and towards all Ukrainian citizens. A humanitarian crisis is unfolding and there are details below of some organisations taking donations to support their operations in helping the Ukrainian people.

Join us for our first in-person Business Breakfast in over two years to hear from Dr Tara Shine, Director & Co-Founder of the award-winning sustainability business, Change by Degrees Ltd, which advises businesses, communities, and organisations on sustainability, employee engagement and sustainability communications.

Following the Night- time Economy Task Force, the Department of Justice are now putting in place training for a safer night-time environment for all. The key objective of the training which has been made available is to enable workers and businesses in the night-time economy to identify the issues around safeguarding and vulnerability management and violence against women.

The European Union has adopted a package of sanctions, Council Regulation (EU) 2022/328, in view of the gravity of the situation as a result of Russia’s military action in Ukraine.

The Regulation prohibits the sale, supply, transfer or export, directly or indirectly, to any natural or legal person, entity or body in Russia or for use in Russia of the following:

The experience in this programme is as close as you can get to having a personal coach. You begin presenting from almost the moment you begin session 1. You present at least six times over the course of 3 half-days. Your presentations are recorded and evaluated. You get expert, one-on-one coaching privately at the end of each presentation.

This workshop is designed to give a short but comprehensive overview of how to work effectively with Planner within MS Teams.

We will cover all essential functionality including creating plans, buckets and working with tasks.
