Engineering apprentice students - opportunity to partner with France

A French umbrella organisation Ingénieurs 2000 runs Master of Engineering apprenticeship courses in partnership with five engineering schools in and around Paris, France. 

Ingénieurs 2000 is actively interested in engaging with industry in Cork to secure work placements for future engineers across sectors including:

  • Industrial engineers (supply chain management, production, logistics, sustainable development in factories, etc)
  • Power engineers (production, supply and distribution of energy; all kinds - wind, solar, etc)
  • Materials engineers
  • Aerospace engineers
  • Power electronics & Motorisation engineers

Facilitating international cooperation can enrich workplace culture, offer new perspective and skills and serve as a pipeline for graduate recruitment.

Hospitality sector opportunity


A request for work placements for French students seeking bar tending/hospitality experience in Cork.  Providing a five month trainee experience without direct costs to your company does represent a good opportunity for relevant businesses. 

Terms of the traineeship:
- Duration: 4 to 5 months from January 2020
- Status: trainee of continuing vocational training
- Financial support: Erasmus + grant with a supplement given by the French State (the company does not pay the trainee).
- Insurance: health assistance, liability and accident insurance coverage, accommodation are responsibility of the trainee.
