It comprises of 50 members and can be considered the significant Association representing the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Technology sector in the Southern region of Ireland.

39th AGM – Monday 12th February 2024

The 39th AGM took place at Maryborough House Hotel, Sherrard Suite on Monday February starting at 6.15pm

Our Guest Speaker for the evening was Prof. Barry O’Sullivan UCC School of Computer Science & IT, Director Insight, SFI Research Centre Data Analytics and SFI Centre for Research Training in AI

 

 

CEIA-Tyndall HighTechElec TY

The 2024 CEIA-Tyndall HighTechElec Transition Year Work Experience Programme took place from 26 February – 01 March (Week 1) & 11 – 15 March (Week 2).

During the week, Transition Year students from 28 schools from across Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Dublin, attended workshops and career talks in Tyndall National Institute & Nimbus Research Centre, UCC & MTU Departments of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and a 1-day work experience at a CEIA member company.

CEIA member companies who participated in the 2024 HighTechElec TY week, providing industry placements for TY students were: Alcon Ireland, Boston Scientific, Firecomms, Horner APG, Dell Technologies, Wisetek, Flex, Logitech, Cloud CIX and Qualcomm.
