Chambers Ireland Local Government Awards
The annual Excellence in Local Government Awards will be held in Dublin this week.  The awards showcase best practice in local government and highlight some of the great projects that local authorities are undertaking.  The event recognises and encourages those seeking to do better despite tighter budgetary constraints and the wider economic challenges being felt throughout Ireland at this time.  The Chambers network has a deep relationship with all local government units in Ireland and this event is a means of showing recognition and appreciation for the daily work of local authorities.
