This year marks the fourth year of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)’s food and drink sector mission to Logroño, La Rioja (Spain). For food and drink importers that have been in business for at least two years, travelling costs to Logroño and lodging whilst there, will be covered by the Employers’ Federation of La Rioja. Please note that individual shops and restaurants are not eligible to apply for places. The mission will comprise of pre-scheduled B2B meetings between some of La Rioja’s food and drink producers; whereby prescheduled 1:1 meetings (each lasting 30 minutes) will take place. There will also be the opportunity to visit the Rioja companies’ premises during the mission.

The types of producers participating in the mission will be companies specialising in:

• Protected designation of origin (PDO) Rioja wine
• Chorizo
• Tinned vegetables
• Olive oil
• Ready meals

How does it work?

3. Create a profile to outline your requirements
4. Browse the participant list and book meetings with producers of interest to you
5. Travel to La Rioja
6. Meet the producers and discuss collaboration opportunities, pricing and distribution channels
7. Visit the producers’ premises
8. Network
