Today is a reminder that protecting our planet doesn’t always require big gestures. Sometimes it’s the small, everyday choices that matter most. Dandelions, often seen as weeds, are one of the first vital food sources for bees each spring. By simply letting them flower, we can support pollinators, strengthen biodiversity and play our part in sustaining healthy ecosystems. This Earth Day, it’s worth rethinking the idea of the “perfect lawn” and instead embracing spaces that allow nature to thrive. Even the smallest patch left a little wilder can make a real difference.
At Cork Chamber we champion a range of environmental initiatives to help businesses turn sustainability ambition into practical action, some of which we published in our recent ChamberLink magazine. Cork Chamhashta
