Ecobuild Matchmaking 2015, 4th March 2015, London, UK

Ecobuild will take place in London 3th-5th March. The event is at the forefront of sustainable design, construction and energy for new builds, refurbishments, commercial and domestic buildings. The Enterprise Europe Network is organising a brokerage event that will take place during Ecobuild on March 5. The Network is pre-arranging one-to one meetings, whereby visitors and exhibitors can find potential commercial and technology partners from all over Europe.

The focus of the Ecobuild matchmaking event will be on:

  • Sustainable design;
  • Innovative and efficient eco-technologies
  • New building materials and technologies;
  • Systems and equipment using energy from alternative sources.

  • Elithis  is a French consultancy and engineering group operating in the construction sector. It is among the French leaders in energy saving and has a long-established presence in fluids engineering, energy and environmental efficiency markets. The Elithis group is widely known for the construction of the Elithis Tower, the world’s first positive energy building.  Elithis’ engineering solution combines human factors, ergonomic principles and cost-effective technical solutions for building design. The company seeks investors seeking to partner in positive energy ventures, both in France and overseas.



  • Rainwater Harvesting Ltd.  is one of the UK’s market leaders for rainwater harvesting systems. The company manufactures its own control / mains water backup systems that complement the shallow dig tank that is manufactured in Germany. Its sister company, Hydroforce Pumps Ltd. manufactures the pump specifically designed for the rainwater market. Its systems are designed for the domestic market and small commercial units. The company seeks a distributor within the rainwater harvesting market to provide full sales and technical support In Ireland.



  • 4Usolution  is an Italian engineering company specialising in the design of energy efficiency solutions. The company offers three main business lines and these comprise of: an engineering service (Casa+) and two energy efficiency products (Lucciola and Eradom) to its customer base. The company provides state-of-the-art solutions to the property market. Lucciola is an efficient storage and management system for electricity generated from renewable energy sources.  In the event of a power failure, for example, it can operate as an uninterruptable power supply. To date, the company has sold ‘Lucciola’ through a network of distributors on the domestic market. The company now seeks licensees or distributors in Ireland; partners willing to work with them on joint research projects focusing on storage and energy efficiency; and partners who would be capable of producing the product through an outsourcing agreement.

Learn about Lille, the food industry powerhouse in France, 11th March 2015, Clarion Hotel, Cork

Join the Enterprise Europe Network on Wednesday 11th March, to learn about Lille.  Located in Northern France, on the border with Belgium, the Lille region provides access to 78 million consumers and 5 European capitals within a radius of 300km. The region has a particularly strong food industry, and is home to many food industry leaders, including Coca-Cola, Danone, McCain, Tate & Lyle, and Kerry Group, to name but a few.       

The Boulogne-Sur-Mer seafood centre in Lille is the largest seafood processing centre in Europe, processing 300,000 tons of seafood annually.  Two leading regional clusters include the Nutrition, Health, Longevity (NHL) and Eurasanté clusters and these clusters represent the region’s strengths in the food and pharma/healthcare sectors.  The NHL cluster offers innovative responses to major public health issues such as cardio-vascular disease, metabolic disorders, age-related diseases, through nutrition and therapeutic innovation.
