Join South West Irish companies and stakeholders in the East Midlands UK
3-4 July 2019

Cork Chamber is coordinating this mission for companies in the region to learn more about initiatives and opportunities for scaling companies in the Midlands region, investing and buying in the UK .

Specifically, Agri-tech, ICT, Cyber, Precision Engineering and Manufacturing companies in the South West region as well as stakeholders are invited to express their interest in participating.

Engage with:

  • The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), Coventry -  bridging the gap between academia and industry.
  • Harper Adams University – showcasing the Hands Free Hectare (HFHa), the first hectare in the world to plant, tend and harvest a crop with only autonomous vehicles and drones.
  • Stakeholders and local government - engaging to build connections around cyber security and smart cities challenges and opportunities.

Companies are invited to avail of this opportunity to build links and new collaborations across business, research and education between Cork and South West Ireland and the UK.

Cork Chamber is coordinating the mission with local stakeholders following the joint ‘Joining the Dots’ report published by the British Embassy in Ireland and Cork Chamber in November 2018.
