Mission for Growth to Israel (24th-26th June 2014)

Director General of Enterprise and Industry DG Daniel Calleja will lead a technical Mission for Growth in Tel Aviv 24th-26th June 2014. The purpose of this visit is to:

• Promote sustainable and inclusive growth in the EU and Israel;
• Help European companies, and in particular SMEs, to operate internationally by exploiting Israeli business opportunities;
• Promote European industry in the targeted sectors (Tourism, Secure Infrastructures, High-Tech, and Manufacturing) by participating in matchmaking events with local entrepreneurs;

A match-making event will take place on the morning of 25thJune and it will aim to:

• Target potential business partners in pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings;
• Reach the Israeli market and its key players;
• Examine business and investment opportunities in Israel;
• Establish cross-border contacts with Israeli companies;

Biomedica, Maastricht, the Netherlands (17th-18th June 2014)

Biomedica is the leading interdisciplinary congress in which Life Sciences meets business. It will focus on the latest innovations in the areas of biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical devices, biomaterials, and business development and product innovations. Biomedica invites business development managers, engineers, clinicians and researchers to present new product developments and product applications, product engineering, clinical validations and translational research in Medtech and Pharma.

The Enterprise Europe network, in collaboration with partners such as Chemelot, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, Maastricht Health Campus, Interface University of Liège, and LifetecVision, will organise a matchmaking event on June 18, making it even easier for participants to meet their future R&D or technological partners.
