Progress towards Docklands Regeneration
Championing the delivery of strategic projects for Cork's city region
 

Cork Chamber welcomes the announcement of government approval for the preliminary business case for the Cork Docklands Infrastructure Programme. As the largest regeneration project in the country, the Cork Docklands is a critical enabler of the city region's population growth, economic development and overall competitiveness. Cork Chamber has advocated consistently for the timely delivery of key elements of the Docklands project and the funding approved this week will play an important role in enabling housing for up to 25,000 people, supporting 25,000 jobs and enhancing the region's competitive offering.

EU Agri-Food Business Mission to Mexico

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) at Cork Chamber would like to share an exciting mission opportunity to Mexico City. European agri-food companies and producers are invited to join the EU Agri-Food Business Delegation to Mexico, accompanying EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, Christophe Hansen, from 16-19 November 2026.

 

The mission aims to support European agri-food exports, strengthen business relations with Mexican partners and help companies explore new opportunities arising from a newly modernised EU-Mexico Trade Agreement. The programme will include market access briefings, B2B meetings, networking events, retail and field visits, and sector-specific discussions with the Commissioner.
