Cork Chamber congratulates newly-elected Mayors

The Chamber has congratulated Cllr. Catherine Clancy on her recent election as Lord Mayor of Cork and also congratulates Cllr. Noel O’Connor on his recent election as Mayor of Cork County.  The Chamber looks forward to meeting with the newly elected mayors in coming weeks to present the Chamber’s views on the needs and supports required for Cork-based businesses in addition to highlighting our priority policies for the economic development of the Cork region.

The Chamber would also like to congratulate the outgoing Lord Mayor Cllr. John Buttimer on his successful term of office and thanks him for his support of the business community over the past 12 months.

Q2 2013 Economic Trends Survey Winner

Congratulations to Marion O’Donovan of O’Donovan Engineering who won the draw for the Q2 Economic Trends Survey prize.  Marion wins Champagne Afternoon Tea for 2 at the Hayfield Manor Hotel.

We would like to thank all those who participated in the survey which is essential to our work representing members on key business issues.  The information provided in this survey supports the Chamber in prioritising its lobbying and representation activities with regional stakeholders, state agencies and local and national government.  Further details and survey results will be outlined in the forthcoming Economic Bulletin.
