Cork County Council is inviting event proposals for Culture Night 2026 across the county. Artists, arts organisations and community groups can submit applications before the deadline of 5pm, 1st June 2026.
Cork City Council, in partnership with John McLaughlin Architects together with the Blackpool Village Team, is developing an ambitious concept design for the Blackpool Village Core Area. This project aims to benefit residents, cultural institutions, businesses, visitors, and the wider community.
A public consultation event will be held on Saturday, 9th May in Blackpool Community Centre, 90 Great William O’Brien Street, from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
The Preferred Route for Luas Cork has been published, with a public consultation on the revised route from Mahon to Ballincollig now open for feedback from the public until Friday, 12th June. There will also be a series of open days where members of the public can view drawings and the project team will be available to answer questions:
