International Opportunities to Grow Your Business

International Investment Forum, Batumi, Georgia, 18th-19th September 2015

The aim of the International Investment Forum is to attract overseas investors and other interest groups and to outline to them the current business opportunities and investment-ready projects in the Adjara region of Georgia.

Batumi is the administrative centre of Adjara, the autonomous region of the Georgian Republic. The region has undergone major changes over the past decade and has become an attractive investment destination for the international business community, and has a strategic location between Europe and Asia.

The International Investment Forum will focus on the Adjara region as a favourable investment destination, the investment climate in Georgia, business start-up procedures, investment projects and proposals initiated by the government, and companies’ success stories.

Participants at the forum will include the Adjara Government, the Georgian National Investment Agency, foreign investors, foreign and local companies operating in Georgia, chambers of commerce, business associations, and others.

Food Matters Live, Exploring the relationship between Food, Health and Nutrition, London, 17th-19th November

The Enterprise Europe Network at Cork Chamber is calling for expressions of interest from companies that would like to join a delegation to ‘Food Matters Live’ which will take place from Tuesday 17th - Thursday 19th November 2015 at the ExCeL in London

Food Matters Live is the UK's first cross-sector event bringing together professionals from across the food and drink industry, nutrition and health to address one of the most important challenges of our time: the relationship between food, health, nutrition and their connections with the environment, population health and wellbeing. 

Food Matters Live will allow attendees access to:

  • Over 400 leading organisations forming a carefully curated exhibition
  • Over 450 speakers participating in the conference and seminar programme
  • Over 100 free to attend conference and seminar sessions

Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) B2B Meetings Smart City Expo World Congress, 17th-19th November, Barcelona, Spain

ACCIÓ (Catalonia’s trade and investment agency) and the EEN are organising the second edition of the smart cities-themed international matchmaking event. The B2B event will take place at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2015. The aim of the this brokerage event is to assist SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, universities, research groups, corporations, institutions and cities in finding international partners for product development, manufacturing and licensing agreements, joint ventures or other types of partnerships.

 

The scope of the event is to create new overseas linkages within the smart cities sector. The event will give participants the opportunity to meet providers of innovative technologies from throughout Europe and beyond. These meetings will allow companies the opportunity to discuss opportunities for collaboration through research and development, licensing agreements, commercial agreement, and Horizon 2020 projects.
