Cork Innovates Visits Lorient for Interceltic Digital Day

This year’s programme of events focused on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, through conferences, roundtables and networking with many international speakers. Topics up for discussion included the economic effect of Brexit, technology in agriculture, the internationalization of startups Breton and the revolution of Artificial Intelligence.

Cork Innovates was present, representing the Cork startup scene, and took part in a panel titled, What’s Next for Ireland’s Startup Scene?

Siobhán had plenty to speak about, particularly with Cork selected as the first ever European host of the Startup Nations Summit this year. The Summit will take place alongside the Global Startup Gathering 2016, in November this year.

Cork is expected to welcome many international delegates, as well as innovative startups from all over the world. The future of startups looks very bright in Ireland, and particular in Cork over the coming months.
