Cork Chamber Agrifood and Drinks Strategy
On the 12th May Cork Chamber will launch its ‘Agrifood and Drinks Strategy’. In the preparation of this strategy Cork Chamber worked closely with key stakeholders from across the regional and national agri-economy toascertain whether additional enablers and supports are required to ensure Cork is as well positioned as possible to capitalise on the current unique global opportunities across the agri-food and drinks sector. Based on Cork’s existing strengths, the Strategy, identifies five opportunity areas – R & D; Talent; SME & Artisan Supports; Co-ordinated Marketing/Profiling; and Facilitative Environmental Supports – where Cork can further solidify its prime positioning as an agri-leader of capability and scale and harvest significant economic and employment benefits.
