The Fair Seas World Ocean Week Conference 2026 will take place on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, at Cork City Hall from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. As part of World Ocean Week 2026, the conference will bring together ocean advocates, fishing communities, government representatives, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to discuss Ireland’s next steps in the designation and management of a network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). Attendees will hear international best practice examples, take part in key discussions, and gain insight into how Ireland can become a global leader in ocean conservation.
