Presentation by Irish Water on their Strategy for Non-Domestic Users

Cork Chamber has actively lobbied on behalf of its members since the establishment of Irish Water for the introduction of a fair and equitable enduring non–domestic tariff system and also to ensure that sufficient time must be allocated for the full and proper migration of information to Irish Water.

Based on this engagement Cork Chamber will facilitate a presentation by two senior executives from Irish Water on the 28th May.  Regional Operations Manager for Irish Water, Katherine Walshe and Key Account Manager for Irish Water, Mary Williams will discuss a number of issues of concern to industry including the priorities and challenges for Irish Water, migration of services and billing from the Local Authorities to Irish Water, industry and tariff regulation, implications for businesses and Irish Water operations including customer services.

Department of Transport Release Draft National Aviation Policy

In 2014, the Chamber prepared a submission in consultation with its membership in response to the Department of Transport’s public consultation on the first ever National Aviation Policy.

The Department has now released a draft of its policy which is available here

If any members have comments/feedback on the draft policy, please email our Policy & Research Projects Manager Dr. Siobhan Bradley HERE  by COB on Friday 20th June.
