SHAPING CORK'S FUTURE

Cork LGBTI+ Awareness Week 2026

Cork Chamber was proud to raise the Progress Pride Flag in support of Cork LGBTI+ Awareness Week 2026 and to stand in solidarity with the LGBTI+ community across Cork city and county. This year’s theme, LGBTI+ Intersectionality, highlights that every LGBTI+ story is shaped by many identities including race, gender, ability and more.

By raising the flag, we wanted to visibly demonstrate our commitment to acceptance, respect, inclusion and belonging. We recognise that awareness and action help to ensure Cork remains a welcoming place for all.
