With public consultation now underway on the Preferred Route for Luas Cork, join us for this in-person briefing with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to explore the proposed route and planned developments.
Key project stakeholders will provide an overview of the Preferred Route, open for public consultation until 12th June, and outline the main considerations and key aspects of the proposed development.

Cork Chamber was proud to raise the Progress Pride Flag in support of Cork LGBTI+ Awareness Week 2026 and to stand in solidarity with the LGBTI+ community across Cork city and county. This year’s theme, LGBTI+ Intersectionality, highlights that every LGBTI+ story is shaped by many identities including race, gender, ability and more.
By raising the flag, we wanted to visibly demonstrate our commitment to acceptance, respect, inclusion and belonging. We recognise that awareness and action help to ensure Cork remains a welcoming place for all.
There are 10 nominees running for election to the Cork Chamber Board, with 5 seats available. The candidate profiles are available to view below. The designated primary representative for each Cork Chamber member organisation is entitled to vote on its behalf and has received direct communications outlining the voting process.
Voting will close at 1pm next Monday 18th May 2026. The outcome of the election will be announced at the AGM, on Monday 25th May at 18.00, at the Metropole Hotel, Cork.
