This 3 day course, one of our more popular, is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, deliver, assess and evaluate training programmes. It is suitable for people who are working in the area of training and development or who will soon be assuming a training position within their organisation. Participants on this course will gain practical experience and recognised certification (FETAC Level 6) as trainers.

At the end of this programme successful participants will be able to:

• Explain critical elements of a trainers' role;
• Understand the functions and processes of learning and training;

Trade Mission for the Nanotechnology Industry from Germany to Ireland, 11-15 November, Dublin

The German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce, with the support of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, is currently preparing a trade mission project in the area of Nanotechnology. In the framework of this trade mission, they will be bringing up to 12 German Nanotechnology companies to Ireland from 11-15 November 2013, to forge business partnerships with Irish companies.

On Tuesday, 12 November a Nanotechnology conference will take place in Dublin, headlining expert speakers in the field from both Germany and Ireland and also include information on innovation and cooperation opportunities within the sector. Presentations will also be made by up to 12 German companies from the Nanotechnology sector and the project will also consist of 2-3 days of business meetings in the offices of interested Irish companies. Simon Coveney TD Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine, launched the third Going International Conference taking place on October 16th in the Fota Island Hotel and Resort, Cork. This year the Going International Conference forms an integral part of the Global Cork Economic Forum, and is part of Cork Rebel Week October 14th -20th 2013, the official Cork Gathering 2013 flagship event.

The outcomes from the insightful panel discussions, at the Going International Conference, will form part of the morning session on entrepreneurship and innovation at the Global Cork Economic Forum on Thursday 17th October.
