Cork Chamber 2025 AGM
 

The 206th Annual General Meeting of Cork Chamber took place on Monday evening in the Imperial Hotel Cork. The AGM saw the appointment of Susie Horgan, Springboard Communications, as Vice President and David Swinburne, Forvis Mazars, as Honorary Secretary. Following a ballot of our members, Anne-Marie Linehan, J.W. O'Donovan Solicitors LLP and Noreen Walsh, AIB Cork were elected to the board. Outgoing members Raymond Kelleher, Paul Hourican, Ronan Murray and Brian FitzGerald were thanked for their valued service.

 

President of Cork Chamber, Rob Horgan delivered a clear message in his speech: Cork’s ability to compete on the national and global stage depends on decisive action across housing, infrastructure, education and international engagement.

Open Streets series kicks off this week
The first of Cork's Open Streets events takes place on 31st May
 

Cork Chamber is partnering with Cork City Council and others for this year's Open Streets series of events. The first event takes place this Saturday, 31st May on Lapps Quay, featuring live music, free games and creativity for all ages. Members of the public are encouraged to come into the city without their car and enjoy the use of Cork's roadways for social and cultural activities.

This year, the Employee threshold triggering the requirement to publish a gender pay gap report moves from Organisations with 150 or more Employees to those with 50 or more Employees. 2025 will therefore be the first year many Organisations prepare to publish a gender pay gap report.
