KLM’s new service from Cork
 

On 03 August 2020, KLM launched a new daily service between Cork and Amsterdam. Flights are operated by a KLM Cityhopper Embraer 175 aircraft and seamlessly connect the Munster region to Europe and the world via Amsterdam.

 

Since the Covid-19 outbreak began, KLM has introduced a range of health & safety measures to ensure all travel is in complete confidence.

The Enterprise Europe Network in partnership with Enterprise Ireland, Invest NI and Northern Ireland National Contract Points (NCPs) invites SMEs, larger companies and research organisations to participate in a one-day virtual event that will introduce the Horizon 2020 Green Deal call for proposals.

The European Commission is reinforcing Green Deal related research and innovation with this dedicated call for proposals under the current research and innovation programme - Horizon 2020. This call aims to mobilise research and innovation to provide concrete solutions for Green Deal priorities, which include, among others, green and digital recovery, climate neutral circular economy, resilience in agriculture, renewables, sustainable and smart mobility and energy and resource-efficient buildings

A Report Under the Sustainable Cork Programme

Framed through the powerful lens of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, our report Building Economic Resilience explores the route to a sustainable, strong recovery in parallel with a discussion on a vision for Cork.

 

In June 2020, Cork Chamber hosted 10 sector specific think tank discussions, and this document presents their rich findings, highlighting the unique activities and priorities identified by each individual sector groups, and the great commonalities between them.
