Jumping in the City Series

Top international show jumpers come to Cork as part of The Underwriting Exchange Limited’s Jumping in the City series taking place at Cork Greyhound Stadium on the 12th of June.

Closing Date fast approaching for the Cork to Galway Charity cycle in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Research

Venue: Leaving Cork on June 19th one night stopover in Limerick arrive in Galway on June 20th
Cost: In addition to the €50 deposit participants must commit to raising a further minimum sponsorship of €250. This covers event cycle jersey, two night’s accommodation, evening meal in Limerick, full on-road support for two days cycling, three rest stops each day, an evening with Sean Kelly, a party in Galway, transport back to Cork for you and your bike and a donation to Cancer Research

Muckross 10k walk

This year’s annual walk will take place on Saturday the 20th of June and this year we will be walking around the beautiful Muckross Lake in Killarney. There is no boat journey this year but there will still be lots of fun along with some beautiful views and sights to see. The walk is approximately 10k and there is a stop at Dinis cottage half way round for tea if you would like.

MSD Charity Golf Am-Am

Cost: The women’s competition is for teams of three, members are @ €10 per person, visitors @ €15. The men’s competition is for teams of three @ €150 per team

The 29th annual Rotary/MSD Charity Golf Am-Am, Bandon’s local charity golfing fundraiser, takes place this July. The event supported by MSD, with local leadership from the company’s facility in Brinny, has supported 40 charities over its 29 years in existence. This year’s competition is aiming for its largest attendance ever with a target of 150 teams and raising €15,000 across the two dates.
