It sets out how controls will be simplified and digitised for the UK’s new Single Trade Window. The Border Target Operating Model has now been published online on gov.uk here.

South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan (DMAP) Proposal
Stakeholder Workshop
 
 

The South Coast Designated Maritime Area Plan (DMAP) Proposal, published in July, puts forward an initial 'proposed' geographical area within which future offshore renewable energy development may take place.

 

The Department of Environment, Climate and Communications is holding a workshop in Youghal on Tuesday September 19th from 11am to 1pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn more about the South Coast DMAP Proposal and to work in groups to provide feedback to inform the refinement of the area. 


 
 
Irish Rail Timetable Changes
 
 

Iarnród Éireann, in conjunction with the National Transport Authority, is planning to introduce a new daily 06:00hrs service from Dublin Heuston to Cork as part of a new timetable from 10th December 2023. Journey time improvements on many of the Dublin to Cork services along with additional early morning services between Cork and Mallow are also planned. 


 
 
National Walking Day

As part of European Sports Week, National Walking Day is back and taking place on Sunday 24th of September.
