Cork Chamber has consistently engaged with the OPW outlining the need for an appropriate and detailed consultation period to disseminate the preferred solution for such a scheme. This is vital to allow the thousands of businesses operating within the City an adequate opportunity to discuss the details of the proposed options with the OPW. Cork Chamber will imminently roll out a campaign to inform businesses in frequently flood affected areas about the public consultation and encourage them to fully participate in this consultation.
